About Me

I was born and raised in South Florida. In 2008, I enrolled at Florida State University pursuing a degree in Information Technology. I became interested in Information Technology while working at my first job in high school. Helping people resolve their technology issues made me realize that this was something that I wanted to do for a living. I was not sure when I started my degree what I wanted to specialize in, but I figured it out and specialized in Linux system administration, database administration, and web development.

I graduated from Florida State University in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. In March 2012, I started working for ESPN as an Associate Systems Administrator as part of the Linux Systems and Middleware Services group. After leaving ESPN in May 2018, I started working as a Systems Engineer for Amazon Web Services.

When I am not developing a new website, creating a database or learning a new Linux distribution, I spend my free time playing video games, watching movies, watching sports, and hanging out with friends. I enjoy playing first person shooters, like Call of Duty, as well as any most racing games, but also on occasion enjoy playing some of the retro games like Tetris, PacMan, or Galaga. I enjoy watching action/adventure movies, as well as comedies and dramas.
